Growing Sequencing Game

This food tasting game aims to:

  • Help children grasp the fact that all fruits and vegetables are grown.
  • Get children to work out how fruits and vegetables grow from a seed, cutting or root to harvest.
  • Practice scissor, glueing and colouring skills.
  • Practice their logic and sequencing skills.
  • Observe real fruits and vegetables and match the colouring to the real colours.

Resources needed:

  • Printables for this month's fruit or vegetable (choose 4 item sequences or 6 item sequences depending on the age and ability of the child)
  • Scissors
  • Glue sticks.
  • Colouring pens or pencils.
  • Instructions.
