What Is The Little Foodies Club For Groups?

A WHOLE YEAR OF ACTIVITY WITH MINIMUM HASSLE!

Many teachers and childcare workers asked us for additional materials to support the books and reduce their planning time. So we developed a version of the Little Foodies Club specially designed for group settings.

Whereas the families' version sends out the materials by post each month, the settings version recognises that you may need to plan some way ahead, and sends you the materials sorted in monthly packs, but in one up front delivery.

The Little Foodies Club for groups and schools brings together the Foodies books, jigsaws and SIXTY supporting resources as well as individual children's packs to increase the children's participation. The monthly materials enable a ‘little and often' approach to food work, instead of a “once a year, tick the box” type of resource. The seasonal focus of the Club also fits perfectly alongside growing food on school sites.

Children's packs
The children’s packs are used to ensure that children stay engaged in the process throughout the year. Each child gets a certificate, membership badge and a Little Foodies passport. The passport encourages them to record a new food they have tasted each month, plus growing and cooking activities they have completed. At the end of the year children who return a completed passport to us receive a free gift.
