It contains five pages of information about cheese and healthy eating, twelve pages of activities, divided into five themes introducing cheese / cheese detectives / cheese for sale / cooking with cheese / good health week. Plus five pages of photocopiable sheets to support the activities.

Curriculum links are provided for all activities.

The activities cover the six areas of development at the Foundation Stage as well as providing links to Key Stage 1 PSHE/Citizenship, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Design and Technology and Art and Design.

Accompanying this pack is a set of six A4 laminated colour sequencing cards. They are developed for use with the younger audience sp that they can put together the sequence of events from milking the cow to eating the cheese.

Alongside this is an A2 poster showing different types of meals which include cheese.

To receive a free copy please email dairyco@edist.co.uk and ask them for a copy of "All about cheese" for Foundation KS1 (there is also a pack for older children).
