DirtGirlWorld Make A Face Game

This easy drag and drop game was made by CBeebies for the DirtGirlWorld programme. There are three different styles of game within the game.

In Copy A Face you have to find foods to match a face which they give you and drag and drop them on to the screen.

In Shapes Game you have a template face and can add any food which is the same shape as the holes on the face, which helps with shape recognition for little ones.

In Make Your Own Face you have free rein to pick any foods you like to make a funny face - go wild!

This is suitable for really wee ones as long as they can drag and drop, and is great for getting them to recognise different foods.

You can find the game here.

BBC Seasonal Food Chart

BBC Seasonal Food Chart

15/11/2013

BBC Good Food Seasonal Food Chart We found this really comprehensive seasonal food chart on the BBC Good Food pages. You can separate it out to see just vegetables, fruit, fish or meat which is helpful or there is an "all" chart which includes everything. We liked it particularly because if you select the "all" chart you will also get seasonal herbs which is dead useful and not included on most other charts. This means you can buy herbs when they are in season (if you don't grow ...
