Cat In The Kitchen

This is a cute online game where children have to help a cat to cook salmon pasta.

You have to help him to find the ingredients from the cupboard and shelves, find the right pans, and choose the right utensils. Some of the choosing requires reading a choice - like wooden spoon, whisk or spatula, so younger children may need help reading those.

You don't get to really mix the food, but it's quite fun finding the right items.

It was created by the Marine Stewardship Council for their kids site Fish and Kids.

You can play it here.

Cheesy Cauliflower Dippers We found this delicious recipe on the Super Healthy Kids website. This is a great way to make a crunchy snack out of a cauliflower, which you can use to dunk into a dip of your choice (for example a warm marinara sauce). Aside from one step in the middle which should not be done by children (squeezing the hot water out of the cooked cauliflowers), the rest of the recipe they can help with. There are very helpful step-by-step picture instructio...
