Grocery Budgeting Game

This is a great game from
KidsMathGames that teaches children about budgeting their food shopping and links maths skills with food themes.

They need to use mental addition to add up the total of the shopping and then choose the correct money to pay with, so it will be more suitable for children who are old enough to be familiar with money and adding up in their head.

The game gives you a few shopping lists to follow and then lets you try some of your own combinations.

Ben and Small's Magic Baking Game This super fun game taken from the Cbeebies website is a great way to try out baking your own loaf of bread! It also gives you the chance to knead the dough really well before putting it in the oven! It doesn't show all of the proper ingredients needed to make bread, apart from the flour, but it is great fun and you can use the cooker timer to know when to take it out of the oven. When you have completed the game there is also an o...
