Seasonal Stuff

One of the main aims of The Foodies project is to help us all to reconnect with the way our food grows. Supermarkets have given us a "Permanent Global Summertime" which means that we can buy any food at any time of year. Although this is very convenient, foods bought or grown and eaten in season are generally cheaper, less harmful to the environment, contain higher nutritional benefits, and most importantly they almost always taste better.

On this site you will find a variety of seasonally linked items. For quick reference we have provided links to most of them here.

Happy eating!
